Product Safety Recall - PA-10 AC Adapter

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your ongoing support and trust in our products.

It has come to our attention that the AC adapters PA-10 bundled with our products, as well as some standalone AC adapters designed for the same products (*), may exhibit instances of cracking in the adapter casing, potentially leading to smoke emission or electrical hazards.

Should you be utilizing an affected AC adapter, we urge you to promptly disconnect it from both the product and household outlets, discontinue its usage, and reach to our authorized distributor service centre in your country using a link: https://mea.yamaha.com/en/find/index.html. We are committed to replacing the AC adapter at absolutely no cost to you.

Even if your AC adapter currently shows no signs of malfunction, we advise proactive replacement to ensure continued peace of mind. Rest assured, the issue lies solely with the AC adapter and not with the product itself.

We deeply regret any inconvenience this situation may cause you and assure you of our dedication to rectifying it swiftly. Moving forward, we pledge to reinforce our quality control measures to prevent such occurrences in the future, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

For AC adapters manufactured between June 2021 and May 2023, please refer to the date code (a four-digit number engraved on the rear of the case) for verification of the manufacturing period.
